What the website style quiz does
Most website projects stall at the same point: the client knows what they like when they see it, but cannot describe it. This quiz fixes that. You pick between palettes, layout feels, mood words, imagery styles, typography and motion, then tell us which well known brand sites you admire. We score your answers against six proven design directions: Minimal and Trustworthy, Bold and Modern, Warm and Friendly, Luxury and Refined, Playful and Vibrant and Corporate and Clean. The one that fits best becomes your result.
How to use it
- Work through the ten questions one at a time. There are no wrong answers, so go with your gut.
- Use the back button if you want to change something before the final question.
- Read the rationale on your result page to see why the direction fits your answers.
- Click any hex code in the palette to copy it, and note the heading and body font suggestion.
- Share the result with your team or designer, or ask us for a free homepage mockup in that style.
Why a style direction matters
Design feedback without a shared direction turns into endless revision rounds. When everyone agrees up front that the site should feel, say, warm and friendly rather than corporate and clean, decisions about color, photography, spacing and copy become much easier and much faster. The palette we suggest is a starting point that already has enough contrast for text and buttons, and the font pairing is chosen so the heading and body faces complement rather than compete. The layout bullets describe how sections, spacing and calls to action should behave, which is often the difference between a site that looks designed and one that looks assembled.
If you want to go further, run the suggested colors through our color palette generator to get tints and shades, and check text colors with the contrast checker so the site stays accessible. For type, the font pairing finder offers more combinations filtered by industry and mood.
At Digzy Technology we use these same six directions when we kick off web design projects. It gives our designers a brief they can act on immediately, and it gives you a site that looks intentional from the first draft.
